Dundee Roadrunners

Grand Prix
The club's Grand Prix consists of a number of races, chosen by the committee to provide a range of terrains and distances, and races which we know to be good, well-organised, fun events. For each race in which you run, you are awarded points, gaining 75 points for 1st, 74 for 2nd etc. The main aim of the Grand Prix is to help get lots of DRRs out to the same events together, to have fun and get a bit of friendly intra-club competition.
There are prizes for the top male and female finishers over the series and there will a memento for everyone who manages to complete the challenge. There are also prizes for finishing first in an age category, with your category being the one which you were in on the date of the first Grand Prix race of the year.
The 2026 Grand Prix consists of 11 races. Of these, you must complete 6 to receive a memento.
1. Saturday 14th February - DRR vs PRR mob match, Camperdown parkrun (approx 5k)
2. Saturday 21st February - Scottish XC, Falkirk (approx 10k)

If a race is cancelled, the first East District League XC race in October will be substituted in its place.
The Loch Ness Marathon will count for points to determine the rankings, while the River Ness 10k and 5k are for completion only - they just count as one of your six races to qualify for a memento. This year, no points will be awarded for other marathons.
