Templeton 10 Road Race
The Templeton 10 Mile Road Race 2022 will take place on Sunday November 6th. The popular undulating country route provides a great challenge, and an opportunity to try a slightly different distance. Entry will be via Entry Central.
General information
Race start is roughly a mile from Clatto Centre, on Templeton Road. There will be signs up on the route showing the way to the start line. Same start and finish lines as last year.
Under UK athletics rules. A Scottish Athletics Permit Event.
This is a well established and popular race which appeals to runners of all types - we had a sell out race and around 300 finishers last year. This will be our 34th year, for both the race and the club itself. The course is scenic and consists of quiet, undulating, country roads on the outskirts of Dundee. This event is Dundee Roadrunners' major contribution to world culture and has been quoted as one of the UK's top ten mile events in Runner's World.
This race route will be the same as last year. Note that there will be prize-giving and a post race buffet (subject to restrictions) at the finish area after the race.

The race starts at the first 'lollypop' on Templeton Road and then runs clockwise up to Kirkton of Auchterhouse, back down the hill to Bridgefoot and then up Templeton Road, through Templeton Woods to the finish line.
